The ugly story ended up, fairly or unfairly, as a stain on the cryonics industry in many people’s heads, partially because in the midst of it, Sports Illustrated published an
article about the scandal with quotes from
an ex-Alcor employee accusing Alcor of mismanaging the Williams vitrification, among other things.
