OOBgen.exe is one of the MP tools in nandflash, which is used to generate the ECC area of Fujitsu's
patent arithmetic and fill the OOB free area with 0xff. When manufacturing you should use it to
update all the raw images stored in nandflash. OOBgenGUI.exe is the gui verison of OOBgen.exe
Because of the ROMloader in MB86H61 ES1/ES2 only identify 512B+ECC(4B)+PAD(512B) mode and
the nandflash standard is PAGE+OOB mode, so this tool should be supported all of them. If one
patition in nandflash identified by Romloader, please use the first mode, or please use the second
mode. |
