The 24Kc core contains a variety of blocks some of which are always present, while others are optional.
The required blocks are as follows:
• Fetch Unit
• Execution Unit
• MIPS16e recode
• System Control Coprocessor (CP0)
• Memory Management Unit (MMU)
• Cache Controllers
• Bus Interface Unit (BIU)
• Power Management
